Introduction to Diploma in Higher Education - Counselling Children and Young People

Please note: it is essential that you have a COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills (or equivalent) to be able to attend the following training days that are designed as taster days before applying to the Diploma in Higher Education - Counselling Children & Young People.

The course will run over 3 days (10am till 4pm) as follows:

Day 1 - Friday 10 February: (Full) 

Creating the therapeutic space; object relations theory and our past selves.

Day 2 - Friday 23 March: (Full)

Using puppets & toys; psychoanalytic theory and present selves.

Day 3 - Friday 29 June: (Full)

Using stories & narrative; person centered approach and our future selves.

Due to demand there is now an additional taster day on 5 May 2012.
