Introduction to Counselling Children and Young People

The course will introduce and explore key themes and topics around communication and listening. Basic counselling skills are taught along with the opportunity for practising these skills specific to children and young people.

The course is designed as a taster for the COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills Children and Young People.

Dates: Monday 28 May 2012 (FULL) - 10am till 4pm 

One day course run 3 times a year.

Tutor: Rachel Hudson

Rachel is an experienced and accredited counsellor, psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer. She holds a Masters degree in Integrative Psychotherapy and has 15 years experience in practice, following a successful career in teaching and youth work. She established and ran a counselling service in Birmingham Senior School, and has created and taught counselling courses up to Masters level in Counselling Children & Young People.
