Make It Happen

Make It Happen is an Early Intervention Initiative designed to identify children and young people that may become at risk and vulnerable, in East Edinburgh. MIH works with children and young people aged 8 to 18 (with a focus on 10 to 14) who are not connected with other services, not considered to be a high risk / tariff case, displaying characteristics of becoming involved in anti-social behaviour, and / or disengaging from school and mainstream activities and assessed as being able to benefit from intervention by MIH

MIH works to re-engage children and young people to make healthy, positive decisions and take positive actions. This includes becoming involved in existing community based activities and services as well as engaging better with family and existing social networks including school, education and employability.
