Representatives from Simpson House Counselling and Simpson House Training were delighted to attend the BACP Conference, "Making Connections", in Edinburgh. Jane Edwards spoke at the conference and Simpson House exhibited at the conference - providing information on the range of services / training and answering questions.

Another successful year with nine students completing the Simpson House Training - COSCA Certificate in Counselling Children & Young People. Students said the course had been so much more than they expected. They felt they had changed as a result and were more able to use counselling skills with children & young people in their work settings or in a voluntary capacity. Several students are moving onto the Diploma in Higher Education - Counselling Children & Young People at Simpson House. 3rd June 2010: Sunflower Garden Volunteers - winners of an Inspiring Volunteering Award 2010The Sunflower Garden volunteers were presented with their award from the Lord Provost at a ceremony held at the City Chambers. They were one of the winning groups within the 'Team' category of the awards and recieved the award due to their outstanding contribution to volunteering within the Sunflower Garden.
to premier the play Saltire Sky - highlighting issues of Diversity & Difference. The play was informed by a Sunflower Garden children's group with children from African heritage and children affected by substance misuse.
