Glenn Liddall Managing Co-ordinator January 2010I am delighted to introduce the Simpson House Training Prospectus for 2010 /11 packed with over 25 courses that can be viewed here. Simpson House Training was established in 2005 growing out of the work of Simpson House Counselling and Sunflower Garden which deliver services to adults and children affected by substance misuse.

Simpson House provides a friendly, welcoming, safe and encouraging learning environment often described as having a “family feel”. The facilities include two large training rooms and several counselling rooms and children’s play rooms. These spaces offer a unique training experience providing the opportunity to practice counselling skills and learn experientially in a therapeutic environment.

The professional, practical and innovative courses offered can provide continuing professional development opportunities through to establishing a completely new career. Simpson House Training provides over 25 different courses including a Diploma in Higher Education Counselling Children and Young People, Certificate in Counselling Skills Children and Young People, Certificate in Counselling Skills Substance Use and Dependency and various short courses ranging from 1 to 6 days.

Simpson House Training is proud to deliver quality training with its tutors and is pleased to be developing a partnership with Mairi Nye Associates. Middlesex University and COSCA continue to work in partnership to accrediate and validate training courses.
